I love coupons… especially when they let me buy stuff for completely FREE! Last year, Shutterfly sent me a coupon for 50 free Christmas cards. I designed them with our pictures, and they turned out lovely. Well, the other day I checked my email and Shutterfly sent me a coupon for a free hardback, 20 page photo book. I received it in the mail today and wanted to share.
Behold… The Hawaii photo book!
It’s the new scrapbook!

14 Weeks
How far along? 14 Weeks
Weight gain? NONE!! Woohoo! I’m going to enjoy saying that for as long as possible!!
Maternity clothes? Not wearing any yet. I’m using a ponytail holder when needed to keep my pants up. I had a giftcard to Old Navy though and bought a TON of maternity clothes to wear this fall/winter. They are so cute!
Sleep? Still good… crazy dreams though.
Best moment this week? I entered my second trimester! Also, I wore a dress similar to the one in the picture above the other day at school. Apparently it shows my bump, that and my “bump” grows exponentially after I eat lunch. ha! Anyways… Everyone commented on it! I thought it was cute.
Movement? None. Hopefully soon though. I thought I felt something this morning, but I think it was too high to be the baby.
Gender? I find out in a month and a half.
Labor Signs? None TYJ!

What I miss? I miss my motivation to work on all of my graduate homework. I keep telling myself I only have three more classes and it will be worth it!!
Weekly Wisdom? Um… Nothing is coming to mind.
Milestones? Entering my second trimester. I’m a third of the way done!
Cravings? I added a new category. haha! This week I have been craving Corn Pops and mini corn dogs. I have eaten mini corn dogs a LOT the past few days. I know I’m not really supposed to eat hot dogs, but they’re so good!!
I started to look at different baby stuff today: strollers, high chairs, car seats. oh. my. word. That stuff is insane. Where do you even begin???

13 Weeks
How far along? 13 Weeks
Weight gain? None so far!!
Maternity clothes? Not yet, but I have some money for a shopping trip in a month or so.
Sleep? Still good.
Best moment this week? Seeing our little one. We had an ultrasound Thursday and finally got to meet our doctor. He made Bran and I feel very comfortable. I think we made a great choice!
Movement? He/she was moving like crazy in the ultrasound, but I still can’t feel it yet.
Gender? We will find out in 7 weeks. My friends are wanting me to have a gender reveal party, so I will have to get to work on that! We will do anything for a party.
Labor Signs? None! Hope it stays like that until February.

What I miss? I am still missing my energy. It’s gotten a lot better, but school is killing me!
Weekly Wisdom? Bran’s cousin Risa sent us her copy of BabyWise. I almost bought it the other day at Hastings. I am excited to use some of the principles with my little one. I know a few BabyWise babies and they are so sweet and well adjusted.
Milestones? Our first ultrasound and the fact that I only have one more day left of my first trimester!!! Woohoo!!!
And here’s a bare belly shot. Bran cut my head off! hahaha! He was in a hurry to go see Travis Tritt at Valley Fest.
It’s so funny that a couple of weeks ago I couldn’t button ANY of my pants. But the baby has moved up, and I seem to have developed a bump. Low and behold, I can button my pants again!

School Days
Oh my word! School is wearing me out!!! One of my sweet sweet students brought me a “Back to School Survival Kit.”
It had some much needed chocolate, tea, water, etc. Loved it!
My class this year is amazing. I currently only have 14 kids instead of the 24 I had last year!! It makes such a huge difference. I’m excited for all the great stuff I am going to get to do with them. They are soooooo smart and sooooo well-behaved.
We got to see Baby Motley today. It was an amazing experience! It made it seem more real.
This isn’t the best picture of the picture… but you can see the head and his/her little legs. Seeing the heartbeat was amazing. Bran and I left with huge smiles and full hearts.
