Bumpdate #2 29 Weeks

Third trimester! I can't believe I only have 11 weeks left!

Weight gain? I've gained around 30 lbs. Yikes.... I'm sure I'll put on another 20 before I deliver. Just like last time. I'm starting to swell again. Yippee. :/

Maternity clothes? Yes. I'm entering the stage where my t shirts aren't fitting anymore.

Sleep? Between heartburn and restless legs, I have a hard time going to sleep. I usually wake up between 3-5 in the morning too. I lay there for forever trying to will myself back into a slumber. Sometimes it works. Sometimes I'm not so lucky.

Best moment this week? We've had many wonderful moments the past month! We are officially settled into our new house. We celebrated the holidays with our families. I turned 30 a couple of days ago. And we got to see our precious baby Graham!! I'm SO in love!!

He looks like his big brother! Here's a side by side comparisons of the two.
Brandon and I wonder what color his hair will be. If he will have my skin tone or his. I can't wait to find out! The ultrasound tech did see his hair! So I'm glad all this heartburn is for something.

Another great moment was passing my glucose test, and my platelet count went up. Everything appears healthy and normal at this point. Praise the Lord!!

Graham's crib also came in right before Christmas, and Brandon put it together this past weekend. I'm still deciding on how to decorate the nursery, but I think I've finally nailed down a plan.

Movement? Graham moves all day every day. He is now the size of a pineapple! Since he is bigger, I can see his movements more, especially when he is on one side. I often have to push him back to the middle when he makes my belly lopsided.

Gender? All boy!

Labor Signs? None

Belly button in or out? In but getting flatter

What I miss? Heartburn is going strong. I keep Tums with me at all times. I finally broke down this week and started taking an antacid almost daily. It has helped tremendously! I just hate taking medicine daily!

Cravings? Hard candy like Runts and Gobstoppers and Sprees. I also drink a lot of milk!

Motley's Move 2015

Hello third trimester!!

So we have had a crazy few weeks! We have been living in Kim and Dan's basement for a little over a year now. It allowed us to save up some money for a down payment and pay off some debt. It was the biggest blessing! However, it was time to move on to our own space since little Graham will make his debut soon. We made an offer on a house back in October, and we finally closed on Decemeber 4! I've been busy making it feel like a home for us. We are loving it so far!

We got the keys on Friday, but I had to work at school at Cougar Christmas until 9 that night. So we went over to show Kim and Dan that night. This is our first picture in our new house!

The next day was just as busy! One of my best friends had her gender reveal, and I had the envelope! Graham will have a girlfriend coming in April! I'm so excited for Meg and her family!! While we were partying, my precious mom and sister were at the new house cleaning and painting. If they wouldn't have been here, there's no way I could've gotten everything done!! I was still packing and cleaning the basement. It was crazy... And being 26 weeks pregnant didn't help me move any faster. That night after mom and Kayla left, Kim and Dan shampooed the carpets and kept Griffin while Brandon and I went to Little Rock to eat with his high school buddies. I felt awful for leaving, but we had this weekend planned months in advanced and hated to cancel.

The next day, we moved! Brandon and Dan actually started the day before with the boxes I already had packed. Jonathon came over, and the three of them moved all of our stuff in about three trips with two trailers. Bless them!!! While they hauled, I stayed at the house and put up the kitchen stuff and worked in Griffin's room. I wanted it to be ready for him. Kim kept G entertained the whole day. I don't know what we would've done without them!!

So after the first night, this is what the living room looked like. The vaulted ceilings made it feel especially empty. The first night here was weird.

But we got the Christmas tree up and enjoyed our first home cooked meal of pot roast the next night! I took Monday off so I could rest and get some things in order. I've never been more ready for Chritsmas break!! I was sore and tired and could barely move after that weekend. Then it was back to work and all the holiday events. The house is slowly coming together...

Celebrating a week in our new space! Griffin also started sleeping all night in his bed again, and we were eating all of our home cooked meals around the table. It was nice getting back to our normal routine!

Bumpdate #2 25 Weeks

Weight gain? I've gained around 20 lbs.

Maternity clothes? Yes please.

Sleep? We've had a lot going on, so it takes me awhile to turn off my brain at night. I'm up between 4-5 in the morning. But what sleep I do get is usually good. I'm getting a little more uncomfortable as the weeks go on.

Best moment this week? We are closing on our house tomorrow! Finally!! We've been blessed to be at Kim and Dan's house for the past 14 months, but it's time we settle into our own space. We will be moving in this weekend!

Movement? Graham is a mover and a shaker. I really feel him when I sit down and pay attention though.

Gender? All boy!

Labor Signs? None

Belly button in or out? In but getting flatter

What I miss? Heartburn is going strong. I keep Tums with me at all times.

Cravings? My sweet tooth is finally back, which you can tell by my enormous weight gain this month.

Griffin got to see Santa at SDC. We had a wonderful time!!
Love my boys!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving too! We ate lunch with Brandon's family, then ventured to Omaha for dinner. Pretty sure I grew a few sizes this weekend!

Brandon and I got a rare date night that weekend. We got home after midnight and found Griffin and his cousins like this. They have the best Nana!

After a long day of school but before packing. I'm so tired!!
