Baby G is already a spoiled little boy! I’ve had two wonderful showers. One was hosted by my fourth grade team at school on January 17. The other was hosted by my sister and sweet friends this past Sunday, the 22nd.
First, my school shower. I must say that I work with some amazing ladies. They are so kind and generous. It’s like I have a bunch of mommas to look after me. This shower was actually a joint shower with another sweet, expectant mother. Valerie is having her baby is less than a week now! It’s her third child, and after two boys, she is finally having a little girl. Since I’m having a boy, we re-used my gender reveal décor. It worked perfectly!
It was a wonderful shower. My favorite gifts were a high chair/booster seat from Kindergarten, a bumbo from first grade, a monogrammed backpack and blankets from second grade, a basket of goodies from third, and a pack-and-play from my fourth grade team. Also the diapers, gift card, and clothes from everyone. I LOVED it all!!!
My big shower was a church. My sister, mom, and I worked really hard on all the decorations. We had a “Little Man” theme. The invitations were white onesies with a little bowtie on them. So sweet! I need to get a pic of them! My other hostesses were Lindsey, Dara, Christie, and Jamie.
It was a great day!!!!!!!!! My favorite gifts were the baby monitors, the diaper cake all the way from Bran’s cousin that lives in Arizona, stroller and car seat from Bran’s mom, swing from my hostesses, and a hand-knitted sweater and hat from a sweet guy in our church. All of the clothes, diapers, pacis, sheets, and everything else was simply overwhelming! We are blessed to know such wonderful, giving people. Griffin is a special little man! My mom and sister were simply amazing. They put so much work and money into the shower. I wish I could repay them somehow!
And to make a long post even longer… Here’s my weekly “bumpdate".
